The mending of the fridge, printer and tap


So, while my son has a broken ankle and is not even allowed crutches for a month, I decided it was a good idea to loan a wheelchair and take him out to the park with me and walk the dogs at the same time.

The 5 minute walk to the park took 20 minutes! There were so many cracks and bumps on the pavements and ... hmm ... I took notice of every single one of them and went upstream into frustration and irritation quite quickly.

I get home and my relatively new fridge stops working, everything's getting warm .. the smoked salmon is smelling off ... more frustration.

And now the kitchen tap is dripping and won't tighten. Doh!

I try and phone some institutions to find out about home tutoring services .. no one is there or I only get hold of those that didn't understand my needs ... Ooohh, so irritating.

A friend drops round a Caroline Myss DVD for me to watch and while I was making tea, the puppy chews it to pieces .. irritation.

I attempt to print off some client reports and the printer isn't working! Frustrating.

Grrrr

It goes on and on .. but I won't bore you with more details :-) ... you get the general idea that my vibrational set point had moved from my normal happiness to one of frustration and irritation and LOA could only respond by giving me more and more situations that reflected more of the same.

The moral of this story is to remember to segment intend your day ahead. It is one of the best ways to deliberately create. Because, without conscious intending, it doesn't take much to start creating by default. One negative thought held for 17 seconds leads to more and more of the same. One little thought eventually becomes thought form and LOA provides all the manifestations to mirror our vibrational set point.

Normally I sit in meditiation first thing and think through my day, deciding on how I want it to go. I set intentions and through virtual reality make my dominant vibration one of happiness, attracting happy people, attracting happy situations, intending to only see that which I like and leave that which does not serve.

Yesterday, I was creating by default because I didn't sit and prepave my day ahead. And I got caught in an emotional drama that started with a bump in the pavement.

Last night, I got in the bath and looked for better feeling thoughts. I moved myself from frustration to pessimism in around 15 minutes. Relief :-)

I get out of the bath and declutter a whole pile of stuff and move myself from pessimism to contentment. Relief :-)

As I decluttered, I found an old list of affirmations I'd written out "I approve of myself, I love and accept my self ... right here, right now. Every difficult situation is a call from my spirit to send love, love, love." Contentment moves to optimism .. Relief :-)

I went downstairs, and yes!! the printer worked perfectly and the fridge had started working again and the tap was no longer dripping :-) Back to Joy!!!

For those of you who have studied basic quantum physics, you will understand that this is not mysterious at all ... for everything in the universe is connected. And our vibration sets the tone.
