Re: what's the difference between NUCCA and Atlas Orthogonal.n/m

It's great. Everything is related. You can't injure your low back without it directly relating to the cervical spine and vica-versa. The body is continuously trying to balance itself. 50 percent of all low back problems are the cervical spine being off.

Think of it as a teeter-toter. One end goes up, the other has to go down. Same-same with the spine. You can't injure one area without it affecting the rest.

The problem is the length of time that elapses after the injury. If the injury is not corrected within a few months you start to get permenent adaptations in the spine. Example: Jeff came in about a year and a half ago. Mid 40's, excellent physical shape but his right shoulder wouldn't work. Very painful, couldn't raise his right arm at all. The original injury happen when he hurt his neck 30 years ago as a wrestler in high school.

We didn't get much improvement initially but he stuck with it and now has full use of his arm, no shoulder pain at all. But it took me a good six months to unravel enough of it just to get to the original injury.

So full spine is the way to go.
