I definitely understand what you are going through. If I use over the counter laxative it is worse than a natural way. Stress will definitely cause digestive problems. Try to eat fiber with every meal. What I do is eat salad before my meal and save a little for after. This method helps digestion because it produces the enzymes needed to help your digestion. I was also told to try to eat fiber with every meal. Start by having an apple for snack after a meal. Oatmeal at night will also help get things moving the next morning.
Drink lots of fluids. Stay away from all dairy products which causes constipation. There are certain bars I eat that contain pumpkin seed by TlC sold in Wal-Mart. I drink lots of Pineapple juice because it is good for bad breath, digestion and clearing the lungs. I do not eat late at night this is because my body does not digest my foods like it would during the day and I wake up tired.
Stay away from processed
White Sugar s, white rice, and eat less bread. Every once in a while drink a hot drink like hot tea, or decaf coffee this will definitely get things going. A diet high in Magnesium will help with
