I was just reading your message on oil pulling. I haven't tried it yet but have read up on it and look forward to trying it. Something else that has also helped my teeth and gums is something called 'Tooth Soap'. You can find it on ChetDay.com or just try google- tooth soap. I have been using it only since Nov. 05 and hadn't been to the dentist for 5 yrs prior! A crown broke so, of course I had to go and also had x-rays, teeth cleaned and all that goes with a visit after 5 yrs.! Well, my teeth were so clean that hardly any plaque was on my teeth as well as a cavity that was forming between my teeth 5 yrs ago that showed on x-ray then but wasn't on the x-ray this time!!!...this is a specially formulated natural soap for teeth and doesn't have all the poisons in it that toothpaste does, the floride, SLS,abrasives ect...my teeth have never felt cleaner or healthier....I don't come to the forums very often that I may catch a reply from you and reply back......I have been very happy with my results. Not only that my teeth are healthier but I'm not paying into the dental monopoly!.. :D
