Re: What other therapies are you guys doing? (edited)
Little processed foods (very rare), no
Sugar or
Sugar substitutes and use only olive oil for cold uses, coconut or red palm oil for cooking, and real organic butter; no hydrogenated oils, no corn canola, soy oils, etc. I use ACV daily to spike my organic apple juice or make a salad dressing. Grain is usually only one serving a day, if that, of Hempseed, basmati rice, brown rice, wild rice, or Quinoa. Teas are varied; Dandelion root, Pu-Erh, Rooibos, various greens (mostly gunpowder) and homemade kombucha. I read labels carefully and am really strict about this, if I see something and am not sure about it I do not buy it. If any of the above does not comply, I do not buy. Do not use a microwave and try to eat as much of my food raw as practical focusing on so called super foods like nuts and berries in addition to vegetables: I also use the Alkalizing drink on Invincible’s Alkalizing blog
//www.curezone.org/blogs/f.asp?f=722&t=47113.
A little sun; if we have cloudy days (I live in a very sunny environment) I may get a little extra sun when it is out. I exercise 1.5 hours daily which includes a light weight session, body resistance exercises, a rebounder 20 minutes and an elliptical 45 minutes (I have to be very careful due to very bad knees, one bad exercise session and I can have trouble walking for week or more). Like Invincible I do deep breathing and positive thinking. I also take an occasional martial arts class and teach at least one a week.
Drink at least one green drink a day, spirulina, chlorella, miracle greens and maca smoothie OR I juice fresh leafy greens with a carrot and/or an apple for a little sweetness. Sometimes I will have both on the same day, just depends on time and how I feel.
Have been taking a good quality fish oil daily, started rotating this with ground flax seed or flax oil.
I have had good success with digestive enzymes and probiotics in the past, however my diet has improved so much that I feel these are no longer needed. I do not notice a difference when they are not used unless… I will use them if I fall off this way of eating for any reason though; like going to someone else’s house for the weekend, vacations, holidays etc.
Cleanses:
Bowel
Liver
Kidney
Oil Pulling with Sesame oil (for now) and ¼ teaspoon of primrose oil with a few drops each of oregano oil and cayenne tincture.
Detox Baths
Skin Brushing
I have had one
colonic and it was a good experience, however the therapist said I was really clean and would only need maintenance; once every two or three months.
Do I fall of the wagon? Yes, when I go on vacation or to other people’s houses or a restaurant, but this is rare and I try real hard to make the best choices with raw fruits and salads making up the bulk of these. I have gotten real good at staying away from sugars and bad fats in any circumstance. When I am at home I do not fall off the wagon very often… My cheats are organic popcorn with organic butter and
Sea Salt or an all organic quesadilla with organic homemade salsa or a homemade organic pizza (I was a chef in a previous life; the wife loves it).
Edit addition:
I also take one ounce of Fulvic Minerals and a tablespoon of sole daily.
