The first time I made kimchee, which is made
with ground cayenne and napa cabbage, I do
not know what I was thinking either and just
dug in~! Yowser, that slow burn sets in and
I also got it to stop by neutralizing it BUT
I doubt I will ever forget gloves when working
with ground cayenne. Even the fresh ones can
get you really easily while merely dicing. I
use those cheapo latex gloves found in the
health department at Walmart by bandages
usually.
