Re: oilpulling for bromide headache?
Hi,
My understanding is if there is not enough
Iodine in ones system, things like bromide and floride takes it's place in the cells. So when one takes iodine, there must be something to eject the bromide from the cells so the
Iodine has a place to go. Vitamin C releases the bromide. I'm reading 3,000 mg a day. Also the type of Vitamin C is important.
Selenium releases mercury. I think I read recently up to 1,000 mg might be needed. I had been basing everything on 200-300 mg.
I've got to look this all up again. However, I think I remember reading when either are released they must bind with something in order to be eliminated. This is normally done through the body's primary filters (colon, liver, and kidneys). If they don't get eliminated they get recycled back into the system.
In my mind, that would also be interesting. OPing as a means to eliminate heavy metals. Not sure that makes sense or not. Bromides do.
Again, people like Newport have a pretty good understanding of this, and their memory and experiences are far batter than mine. One of the reasons I'm doing a lot of this stuff is to get my memory back. (either mercury or thyroid/iodine deficiency...probably both).
