Gazmop, you have some incredible information regarding FBO. I've actually seen this manifest in my body initially back in January 2006 and yet 2 years later, it's still with me to a much lesser degree, about 95 to 98% gone, but still there...I've been to gastroenterologists, regular medical doctors, and naturopathic doctors, been colon, liver, gallbladder cleansed and have considered seeing Dr. Don Colbert and Jordan Rubin in Florida to see if they had any insight to our issues since they both have had near death experiences and other difficulties of their digestive systems.

The one thing that I would like to point out about the body leaking fecal matter back into the blood stream is that when I posed that same idea to my gastro he said chuckling, that I would be in incredbile pain and heavily toxicated to the point of death or near death if I wasn't able to receive any medical intervention. Yet, I completely undestand and have noticed myself all the symptoms and the logic behind those who are obese or constipated yet don't suffer the same way we do. So I'm convinced that our bodies are well able to handle this toxification and still function otherwise normally except for the fact that we release this odor being the most overt problematic symptom.

I have diabetics in my family, mostly my father's side, some on my mother's, but wouldn't this be a typical symptom of both the diseases that you mentioned for diabetics and sufferers of Coeliacs Disease? None of my father's family members suffer from FBO and about half of them were confirmed diabetics.

I'd also like to mention that just before I noticed these symptoms, 3 things had taken place in my life, one of which was the increase in silver Amalgam in my mouth and found out that silver Amalgam can actually inhibit the body's ability to break down sulphuric compounds and forcing them through the walls of the colon and release this sulphuric/rotten egg/fecal odor through our breath and skin. I received 2 new fillings 4 months before and noticed that the suppression of my immune system also seemed to strengthened it's ability to take over and diable my natural ability to eliminate toxins properly. My medical doctor thought it was just leaky gut, but actually told me to take 2 bottles of Magnesium Citrate (laxative) and I was fine for two days...and then it came back. Since then I've been looking for the exact cause of this to finally put to end to my suffering and hopefully the suffering of others.

Any more insight would help! What do you suggest I do? Get tested for diabetes and CD? If not confirmed for either, what else to you think this could be caused by? I know stress and anxiety seem to exacerbate the reactions and intensify the odor, so I basicly had to learn uncommon emotional control and at times emotional detachment in order to keep from 'smelling'. I'm tired of fighting!!
