Re: Don't fix what ain't broken!
I am offended when you come in here swinging with your use of the word "moron". I don't know why some people have to resort to insults on this Forum. It's usually the anti-abortion crowd that does this. You have a right to your opinion, but anyone that insults mine is going to hear about it.
My point about irregular periods is that not all couples can safely plan to have sex via the "rhythm method" and not get pregnant because not all women ovulate regularly, therefore you cannot rely on that method for birth control. I am one of those women. There are many more. Just look at the hundreds on the
CureZone Forums that have ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, the birth control and Mirena Forums, and the list goes on. Are you going to call them "morons" too?
As well as your opinion if there is an "oops" and the woman gets pregnant. Well your opinion is not mine, whatever that woman decides to do, abortion or not, is her business.
Calling rape as a "minority scenario", which is not my opinion either, (I don't know where you live, in a gated community?) does not justify taking away the right to choose. So you would force a victim to have a rapists baby? Sorry, that's sick and I don't agree.
This thread started over vasectomy. Since birth control is necessary for most people, why not focus on the man for a change? If vasectomy is as bad as you say, than I'm sure that they could perfect the procedure. They could if they would!
That's why I say reduce abortions through conception control. Fixthedix.
