I'm sorry you're offended Megabite, but I have every right to express my opinion that debate on this is folly.
The fact is rape is a very small minority occurrence in the pool of justifications for abortion. Irregular periods are not an excuse either (you always have a choice in health).
Failed birth control between loving couples? That would be a case where both individuals should have accepted the responsibility for a potential life prior to engaging. Therefore, why would that ever be a valid justification for terminating life???
We can't take away liberty of choice, but then again, we can't culturally advocate lower standards of life and responsibility, particularly for minority scenarios. That's a recipe for societal failure which we see playing out today.
You need to do a little more thinking about this. If you do, I trust you'll eventually come around. ;-)
