I completely agree with you. This is why it is scary with under reporting information. I haven't seen any follow-up stories other than a mention with blood banks.

I know on the P Forum I posted an article about Chagas, perhaps that was 2 years ago? That particular article gives a lot of details. The main thing about this disease is that it slowly incubates. At some point the person is unable to move their bowels with an accumulation of feces over a period of months.

I've posted a few things here, but the info on the P Forum is good reading material.
