how can you "absorb" more mercury with oil in your mouth than out? oil doesnt chelate mercury, nor does it disolve it. the mercury gases off, otherwise it cannot escape the Amalgam without taking silver with it and that requires physical action on the filling.

i find this a moot point and think many short pullings are better than no pullings. it might even help the economy a little.
