Re: Your advisor is correct.
...just vote Republican and before you know it everyone will skipping around town whistling a happy tune again???
We need leaders who want to shrink government. We need people to realize that their faith and hope in their future shouldn't be in government. Society needs morality in order for it to function better. What good does it do us if the populace doesn't trust each other?
We need the population to become educated by choosing to spend their time paying attention to paradigms and philosophies that are worth learning about. Just look at our standard perceptions on health in America. Most Americans really don't know know anything about health and losing weight. How many of them are on meds? I am not planning to go on any. I know which foods that attribute to conditions such as high cholesterol and inflammation and I know about foods that are anti-inflammatory. Hillary wants a big health care bill. Why? Why don't they educate the population about healthy lifestyles? It would probably save the taxpayers a lot of money.
Another paradigm that is being corrupted is the idea of land ownership. People take care of what they earn. You would take care of the back yard that you own and if you had to surrender what you have sown to the government like in a communist society, where is your incentive to take care of it in the first place? Look at lotto winners, over 70% of them are flat broke within the first year of their winnings.
I am not a total pessimist like that guy in the article Zoe posted. At the same time I see a trend of slow erosion in the fabric of the society of the greatest country on Earth. It is sad.
