Re: Root canal tooth removed, now have pain in another tooth

It's been 2 1/2 months since I had root canal tooth removed and I still have pain. It is not a root canal tooth. I am seeing a dentist soon. With root canal tooth removal I make sure that a cavitation was done as well. That site has healed well and is now pain free. If there is a problem with this new tooth I will not have another root canal (ever!!!). Do you know if there is any protocol for extraction? I know the periodontal liagament has to be removed. Anything? Any work on jawbone etc? Thanks so much.
