Root canal tooth removed, now have pain in another tooth

I just had a root canal tooth removed and my jaw bone cleaned out. Procedure was very successful except that I did end up with a dry socket that is slowly getting better.

I am having a lot of pain in another tooth now (an upper molar, it was a bottom molar that was extracted). The pain feels nerve related. Has anyone experienced this? The pain in this tooth has now surpassed the pain in the healing extraction site. I do not have an infection.

Could these teeth be connected nerve wise? Is this just part of a dry socket healing? Any comments/ suggestions?

Thanks
