asthma, acute bronchitis and night time wheezing

I would appreciate any help with my asthma and acute bronchitis. In October I had a very serious asthma attack due to an exposure to concentrated cat dander. On a scale of 1-10 it was a 12. Vere severe. I had barely recovered from it when I had another attack, again due to an exposure to another cat; not as severe, but still bad, probably a 9 on the same scale. Now acute bronchitis has set in and the night time wheezing is driving me crazy and keeping me from sleeping, and I already have insomnia problems. I am using essential oils, and it is helping, but I am far too dependent on my nebulizer and it doesn't really touch the wheezing. I have tried a number of things with only limited success. Help!
