Autism and type A

My son is A negative. He has PDD-NOS which is a mild form of autism. I recently came across some research stating that the majority of boys with autism have type A blood. The idea is that they have difficulty processing proteins. I reviewed the list of foods type As should not eat and we have eliminated most of those foods (previously) because he had a hard time tolerating them.

I think I will go all the way with the Blood Type Diet for him. Has anyone else heard this about autism and A? Also, any tips to get started? It looks pretty easy since he has a natural affinity for the foods listed as good for him! Smart boy!
