Actually, the post was not so random. There are Daoist practices of natural birth control that can enable a woman to stop her menstrual cycle and thereby increase her overall energy levels. When I submitted that post I did not take the time to read through the whole article, although I would imagine that somewhere on that site is some discussion about such practices. There are a few variations of Daoism, including philosophical Daoism; which is not a religion and whose teachings are available for anyone who wishes to practice them. There is no need to classify oneself as a 'Daoist'. Such practices can offer an alternative form of natural birth control to things such a tubal ligation. My post was simply offering another option for those interested and who might be reading this thread.
