Hey Roooth,
I had my tubes tied about 9 years ago...a little more. I did not know much about healthy alternative living back then. Yet, knowing what I know now, I would still have it done. I was not interested in taking birth control any longer and knew I didn't want anymore children. My OB is awesome. He asked me my 'game plan' about more children. I said I didn't want any. He said then how about this? I said, doc, you know I am not married. His reply was "And?!?!". I said let's do it!
As I mentioned, my OB doc is awesome. I had no difficulties whatsoever after my tubal ligation. LOL The ONLY thing I saw negative was that I had a period again! I had been using the depo shot previous to that and my periods stopped. Truly though, I had no negative side effects.
I have had a partial hysterectomy, back in 2005, due to not wanting to go into menopause at 42 (when surgery was done). Although I have some friends my age that are beginning menopause, I am still not there. I love no periods! Although, the reason I had it was because my iron levels were wayyyyyy too low. I did not know about CureZone then, either. Not sure, what I would have done, back then about that, had I known what I know now. Yet, other than a few minor things, I had no difficulties, after the surgery.
Peace,
Beth
