So, if I have this straight, to fix a cavitation, one has to:

This is supposedly to prevent any microorganisms from entering the tooth either through the crown or the root. "
So they have to cut you open and clean you out and then pack you with stuff? I thought you said they weren't supposed to put anything in there?
How much does all of this cost and is it painful and how long does the surgery last?
