Re: John 3:16 re-interpreted.

The Muslims believe just as the Christians and Jews believe i.e. that God first created Adam and Eve.

If you go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and translate the word γενη from Greek to English, you too will wonder how those Biblical Scholars came to their version of John 3:16. It's a current usage word; you put one and one together and you get two...it's as simple as that.

The terms parthenogenesis and monogenesis are synonomous, the only difference being that the former term is specific whereas the latter is more general.

Where it says in the Bible that God created us in His own image, it should translate as He created us how He liked i.e. according to what was pleasing to Him. We, as humans have absolutely no similarity to God; the only way we can come to any kind of understanding of  Him is by the attributes that He describes himself by.
