Thank you all. I have been consuming so much peanuts. I got this packages from a friend in India, she says it is one of the best thing to eat. These peanuts are roasted very differently and have Sea Salt in it. She said that they soak the peanuts in salt water after it arrives from the farm, then they actually use old fashion huge pans that are heating up on coal fire, they roast the peanuts in these pans and let the water evaporate. They do not look roasted at all. They are still off-white in color.
I have never tasted peanuts like that. The Indian name for it is "Khari Shing". They actually combine those with roasted grams(Indian chick pea) and eat that as a snack.
I love that combo. But I guess I will have to stop eating peanuts due to aflatoxins. How can we se this fungus on the peanuts?
