Re: zapper vs electronic muscle stimulators

It seems to be where you go as to whether a prescription is needed or not. It seems that if you go to any site that has "med" anywhere in the name they require a prescription. Elsewhere no. I haven't tried to buy any of them, so I don't know if maybe on the last page where they ask for payment they ask for a prescr. Most of them have a statement in the area that describes the unit if a prescr. is needed.

Take a look at this:
http://www.healiohealth.com/tek9.asp?pg=products&specific=jnoncrm0
Says nothing anywhere about a prescription.
Near the bottom it gives the tech info. This was part of one of my questions, as to whether an all purpose unit could be built that goes that low in micro amps.

Has there been anything in these forums dealing with electronic muscle stimulators?
I am reading that there are several units that are being used to tone facial muscles i.e. "electronic face lift". They seem to be especially popular in England.
No prescr. needed in USA, but in England there is some kind of permission needed, which doesn't seem to be a problem. They are selling almost on every street corner.

It would seem that a by product or side effect of using these units would be the killing off of pathogens.
