Re: atrophied tissue

I'm mainly referring to pits and holes. They do become shallower with time and exfoliation, and red marks definitely fade.

However, I'm very impressed with the current laser treatment for scars, called something like "photo-facial elite". I had a session last year and it did cause my skin to be smoother. Unfortunately, it's expensive...$500 a treatment and they tell me I would need a few treatments to achieve the desired result. My technician said she had another patient whose bad scarring was GREATLY improved with many sessions. But I can see a difference and am sure this would help. If I were younger, it might be my priority, but I have other financial issues more important to deal with now.

But I was impressed with my initiation and am sure technology will get better and cheaper as time goes on. Try to have hope and take 5-htp or l-trptophan from the health food store for depression; it will help immensely. Good luck.
