At the age of 50 I found out I (probably) had a life-long hormone imbalance. I always knew they were wreaking havoc on my body but didn't know why, plus they didn't have such testing available then.
What I would have given not to have spent almost 40 years (got my period VERY early) of misery! Don't let that happen to you; some things we can't do on our own; diagnosing and treating hormone problems is not for the amateur. Don't spend 40 years of more pain.
Those of us unlucky to have more health problems than usual -
and I truly believe this, just as some people are born extremely healthy and live to 100 while smoking cigarettes and others are born with MS, childhood cancer, etc
- have to make health our priority to live a happy, normal life. While others may splurge on ipods, expensive cars, whatever....our happiness can only come with decent health. Unfortunately!
