I have run into many vegans/vegetarians/raw foodists who have a pretty nasty attitude about people who eat meat. Some of them get offended if you even mention eating meat around them! I was just wondering why that is. It's one thing to disagree and it's another thing to be completely intolerant of others' lifestyles. Seems like healthier (and you'd think, more enlightened) people would practice love over judgement. I know that not all vegetarians (etc) are like this, but the ones that are judgmental feed into negative stereotypes. I plan to transition to a raw vegetarian diet soon and hope I don't end up with an attitude of intolerance and superiority.
