Reasons for hope...

Dr. David Suzuki ( http://www.davidsuzuki.com ) mentioned that 80% of the world's people have yet to use a telephone. He also gave figures that showed that the average income, worldwide, is very low. There just isn't the money for most of the world's people to buy the new-fangled stuff.

I also like Jane Goodall's 'Four Reasons for Hope' ( http://www.janegoodall.org/jane/essay.asp ).

If we can help the 'wealthy' 20% become aware, and help change the industry's business methods, things may improve sooner than we think.

The quickest way mankind ever invented, to pass on ideas and information, is 'the grapevine'.

Remembering this makes me smile.
