Re: V-irus

The lymph nodes are being corrupted and are responding by swelling, which is what your breasts used to do, and which is what happens in cases of goitre, BPH. Inflammation is a normal response.

Think of a computer. When a program runs on it that you like, it does something useful with the resources that are being expended. When a program runs on it that you don't like, it does nothing useful for the resources expended. The virus re-directs resources to do useless things, and sometimes malicious, destructive things ! In a computer, one may be able to remove a virus. In the body, it can be a little tougher.

In the body, when tissue replication and enzyme function are commandeered by an alien program, the body's resources are expended on things that are not useful for the body, according to its design. So, the body's sytems must come in and do two things after a virus: 1) stop the proliferation; and 2) clean up the mess. If the virus is just like a computer game and the resources it takes up are nominal, it won't even be noticed by the host. On the other hand, those with compromised systems and in the presence of a malicious virus, may experience a wide range of manifestations.

But I don't think they can be killed, because they are not alive, any more than a computer virus is a computer.
They're just little programs, and all one can do is keep it in check so it doesn't get the chance to run setup.exe in your system.
