Re: Anybody celebrating the earths rotation around the sun?

I usually celebrate another 365 day or
thereabout swing around the Sun on my
birthday, since it is more personal.

New Years...I will do a ritual where I
write all the things down I want to
jettison from last year, and burn it.
Then I will write my resolutions and
goals for the New Year, and put them
under my pillow to sleep on it.

A bottle of champagne is also usually
enjoyed, and here in Texas, it seems
the shooting of guns is also an accepted
ritual of bringing in the New Year.
I plan on popping off a few fireworks
since I have forgotten how to load a
gun...ggg.
