Christmas - Mixed Feeling

On the one hand Christmas is great. On the other hand it's so much of a burden for folks I can't see the celebrations purpose. Seems to put people further in the hole. I can't see the Christ doing that to folks.

People have to be with people they don't really like, even buy a gift for them. All the bad food, sweets, sweets, and more sweets. Stuffing yourself at dinner. Which took three days to prepare. Can't see the Christ doing that to folks.

On the other hand, the quiet times with that special someone with all the decorations adding to the essence. The special gift just for your true love. The kids anticipatory excitement for Christmas morning. Yeah.... And it IS special to be with true friends, not the genetic kind, the spiritual kind.

But overall I think it should be cancelled. The corporate boys have ruined it. It would be a good way to get back at the rulers. Don't participate in all the buying and feeding they start advertising about after Labor Day. I'm sure the Christ wouldn't mind. Save you a lot of money and headache, not to mention the health problems associated with bad food. But most of all it would put a sizable wound in the very people that want to keep us in slavery. Hurt their profit margin. The money boys, you know, the guys He kicked out of the temple. They were His enemy too.

So next year lets all boycot, have a strike, say load and clear to the corporate rulers, we ain't buying it anymore. We know the Christ and He doesn't like it. You've taken a good thing and made it a burden for most folks. Spend, spend, spend. To what end - YOUR PROFIT MARGIN. What happened to Christ? - who cares, gimme the money...

Remember "The Christmas Carol", old Ebenezor Scrooge? Had those visitations, turned him into a nice guy. Spent the rest of his days spreading the cheer around, spreading the love around. Yeah, that's what it's all about.

Turns out most people are the opposite of old Ebenezor. They start out in life spreading the cheer around, spreading the love around and as they get older the bah-humbug theme shows up. They can see that most of the Christmas thing is a con to cleverly separate them from their money and health. Got nothing to do with true spirituality. Got nothing to do with what the Christ was really all about.

So lets start a movemenet right here on Curezone. Spread the word. Next year no Christmas. Lets put a giant dagger in the back of our rulers. Show them the true meaning of Christ. Love, peace, good will to the truly needy. The spiritual side of life, NOT the corporate greed, material side of life. I'm sure the Christ would just love it.

So, I've got mixed feeling about it. On the one hand it's great on the other it's nothing more than profit margin for the rulers Corps. The profit motive boys have taken the real meaning out if it and I don't like that at all.
