Good luck w/ the Chinese herbalist and keep us updated. I don't think it's been established that Miracle-Mineral-Supplement "creates an acidic environment" in the body, but it's always best especially if you're going to try something else, to let it (the herbalist's treatment) stand on its own merits without using anything else. Many people deal with the GI symptoms you do so let us know how it works out, good luck
