Re: acne and the chiropractor?
Half of all low back problems originate in the cervical spine. Any skin problems relate back to the liver unless your diet is terrible.
The upper cervical spine (C1&2) when not mechanically correct interfers with nerve supply that goes to all the organs of which the liver is the main one of. The level of health of the liver dictates the level of health of all the other organs. Keep your liver healthy and it's about impossible to get sick. You WILL be healthy.
Its funny, after the experts, and regular folks too, have been in Natural Healing for a while they all come to that conclusion. The liver is the KEY to getting healthy and staying healthy.
What I recommend for chiropractic care: The chiropractor should have a Thompson table, be proficient in Intersegmental traction and know how to correct the upper cervical spine. Again, C1&2. None of this "rack-em and crack-em" stuff. Stay away from lumbar rolls and those quick cervical rotation adjustments.
Adolesent acne responds very well to the upper cervical adjustments. Other skin conditions are a big variable. Usually it means the liver needs some work. Debug it and decongest it. However, if the liver is compromised the upper cervical spine will be compromised also. It's a two way street. It depends on which one happened first.
At this time in history it's usually the liver that gets compromised first which leads to upper cervical instability and thus the neck will need some work as your liver gets healthy. But a neck injury can also lead to liver compromise so again it's a two way street.
If you're not obese, diets pretty good and your physically active it's probably your liver. A good antiparasite program and some liver decongestion should do the trick.
Also, if you've had antibiotic therapy pick up some good probiotics at the healthfood store, the refrigerated kind, and take a bottle or two of those. That will improve your digestion and absobtion tremendously. Which in turn should clear up your skin.
Four fundamentals of the Ntaural Healing Paradigm:
Straighten it out.
Clean it out.
Feed it correctly.
Exercise.
