Yeah, this sounds like a fun thing to do. Coincidentally,
I was looking at these hand tools just last night on ebay
since I usually get gifted some moola and so have fun
using it for items I would like but which are further down
on my wish list.

Of course, you could stand in front a a display of gadgets
in the kitchen section of the dollar store and find some
spiffy plastic spatula which would work. I am specifically
thinking of the long handled kind which they tout as perfect
for getting the last remnants of mayonnaise out of a jar~!
