Re: laying on of hands

Through the Holy Spirit, I can be a channel for "Reiki", sinced I've just been attuned recently, but I think laying on of hands is even more DIRECT than Reiki, as you're talking about God, Himself, right in the room healing a person through someone's hands.

One doesn't have to be attuned for that. They just have to be totally subjected under Jesus Christ, and these days you're not going to find a Christian that is that empty of Self to be willing to let God fill them like that.

I think the Laying on of hands is also one of the gifts given from the Holy Spirit, after one is baptized by the Holy Spirit. Sadly, again, not many Christians are willing to be that committed and surrendered to Christ as King and Lord to be used as such a channel. Most of us ,(including myself) are still baby Christians who tend to serve Jesus for what He can do for us, and havn't reached that spiritual maturity and love for Him as that elderly women who healed that guy from pnueomonia mentioned in the post before mine. I'm pretty sure one must be an empty clear channel, free of selfishness before God can use them to lay on hands. Neverthless, the healing comes only from God and is not from that person. They just have to be willing to be used as a channel.
