Re: Has anyone ever heard of a Clorox bath to help chelate? Is it unsafe?
Using Clorox baths to chelate has been around for many decades, and has even been used to heal Alzheimer's (i.e., rids the body of aluminum). See, for istance, the books Using Energy to Heal by Wendell Hoffman, or Gem Elixirs and Vibrational Healing Vol. II by Gurudas, to name just two. Renowned natural health author
Ann Louise Gittleman says she took Clorox baths on a weekly basis while living in New York.
I've taken dozens if not hundreds of Clorox baths, and they've helped me a lot and never done me any harm. The dose is one cup of regular Clorox in a tub of very hot water, and soak for 30 (20?) minutes, avoiding hair. The wooziness afterwords is from the heat and the cleansing.
I'm not suggesting you do anything that you feel isn't helpful for you, but don't disparage a practice that is well-known in holistic circles. Every treatment may not be for everybody, and some people have a senstivity to bleach, but a Clorox bath is nothing that dissimilar to swimming regularly in a chlorinated public pool. And just as a reminder, our public drinking/tap water has been heavily chlorinated for as long as you've been alive.
By the way, Clorox/bleach does not cause cancer! It's the industrial by-products of industrial bleaching that are toxic.
