DD - Your insight is great as always, thanks for this message... particularly, the link about mold sickness. I'm going to print it and forward it to my doctor to make sure these are antibodies I'm being tested for.

I completely agree on the point about "proper testing" to determine a cause, rather than diagnosing oneself - which I'm guilty of doing previously since my doctors have failed to act, as far as I'm concerned. For the future, how would you advise others to get that testing when working with skeptical or otherwise unhelpful medical professionals? Change doctors? Go to a different specialty? Go to a teaching hospital? What would you like to see people do to help themselves? Is there some way to better educate physicians?
