I agree with you. I've suffered from skin cancer for 10 years off an on and had many MOHS surgeries, including the removal and reconstruction of one nostril. I look great, was a great doctor, but I still keep having new ones develop. I tried Cansema Salve, which the FDA had shut down in this country, and I could only get a veterinary version from Australia (which is basically the same formula, but more DMSO for penetration). The ingredients are: Gallangal, Chapparal, Bloodroot, Zinc, Chloride, DMSO. I had heard the horror stories, but also the many success stories. I got it. I applied a small amount to three areas and covered them with bandaids. The stuff did exactly what it said it would do. It does penetrate and make a 'volcano' effect that draws out a white puss core. Then it forms an eschar and scabs over and eventually falls off with new skin left underneath. Common sense is key in this kind of treatment. Had I gone the regular route (MOHS), I'd have been cut open, then stitched together, and my insurance bill would be about $10,000. Cansema Salve works. I just hope the makers can soon begin practicing in the U.S. again. Until then, I have stocked up on the veterinary version... moooo... ;-)
