Re: Please send bulletin out on myspace lets get this sucker off the market

I sent out a similar bulletin on Myspace, and an email out to be passed on. Let's hope women take this seriously and pass it on. Even if they don't have it, maybe they can help someone else. I had the Mirena for nearly 2 years, and until I found this site, didn't know what was wrong with me. The doctors don't tell you anything. LET'S GET THE WORD OUT, GIRLS, AND GET THIS THING STOPPED. Or at least the FDA involved in better side effect warnings. We are a country of strong women. We take charge of everything that affects us, except our own health care. We trust doctors, but I think this proves that only we can protect ourselves.

I had mine removed a week after finding this site. I ran up a lot of doctor bills, looking for what was seriously wrong, when I never even mentioned anything to my OB/GYN. I will be starting to see a new GYN this month. I wonder what mine old one might know. He has agreed to give me my records, but he pushed the Mirena to the point that 3 of the women working in his office have it (out of them 2 of them were very interested in my side effects, and compared them to their own). Anyway, when I called for a follow up, I found that my doctor is closing his practice. When I first complained, I was told that I was only 1 of 3 with complaints about Mirena, then the receptionist admitted that she would be having to have hers removed, and the nurse showed me handfulls of her own hair falling out.

Keep encouraging everyone to get the word out. We have the power at our fingertips to get the word out, and hold them accountable. Of course I just wonder if they didn't already know, but released it anyway, I'm sure that they have already made a fortune from our misery. Tweet
