Here is also a link for a discussion between Mercola and Adamo:

Regarding your nutritionist's claim that there is no research to support the
Blood Type Diet , I would recommend reading these articles:
Adamo's reply regarding critics:http://www.dadamo.com/ask/ask2.pl?20030629.txt
In another article he says he has about 40 3
inch binders filled with real research.
Adamo on the other systems of metabolic typing:

Adamo's FAQ reply about Soy:

I know there is an article on his site where he also talks about the author of the soy article on Mercola's site. I think she is the
Webmaster of an anti-soy site.
Personally I am confused about the soy issue. The information I have from 'Young Again' by John Thomas says soy is a pan hemaglutinin (agglutinates all blood types). But if Adamo has done the research to see that it does not agglutinate Type A, then maybe it is OK if it is non-GMO and organic.
I have determined I am comfortable with soy that is non-GMO, organic and properly fermented as in Tempeh, Miso and properly prepared soy sauce (not sure the soy sauce is available anywhere though, most manufacturers use the quick method.)
