Bad cold and coconut oil

Hello Doc:

I was wondering if I could put a few drops of coconut oil in my nose to make my nostrils work. I just want to sleep tight tonight so I can fight my cold. If I do not it will be terrible time at work and it will continue the cold.

Any other ideas?
