Agreed. But, too much magical thinking takes the solid foundation of truth out of life. A light at the end of Gandalf's staff is nice for a little illumination; it's pretty beautiful too. But at the same time, I'm sure glad Ben Franklin and Thomas Edison weren't too interested in magic when their dedication to critical thinking gave us electricity and light bulbs. Just a view from another facet of the sparkling diamond of life.
