Re: Sigmund Freud died of cancer

Anybody ever read "Assault On Truth"? It is a book about Sigmund Freud developing his theories because he refused to acknowledge the fact that some of his patients were suffering from what is now known as PTSD from sexual abuse as children. It was so much easier to sweep this horrendous behavoir under the rug and blame the victim.

I used the work the midnight shift in a computer room for one of the local utilities. The employees were not necessarily the most well educated. But I will never forget one of them asking me a question about Sigmund Fraud. She was very sincere, and could not have been more appropriate.
