Thanks for reading my posts on Shatavari.

As you know, I'm a big proponent of the herb and can attest to its many healing properties on many levels. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this herb was put on the earth specifically for addressing candida and leaky gut. I hope more people on the Candida Forum give it a try and see the results for themselves.

You mention mushrooms. In the fungi perfecti (fungiperfecti.com) catalog there is a list of mushrooms and associated medicinal properties. Those that have anti-candida properties are Shaitake, Matsutaike, Maitake and Reishi. You can get bulk powder of these as well as the best(from my experience) olive leaf extract from dynamune.com at the best price on the internet.

At first I believed that taking a wide variety of herbs at once would be the best way to go about it, but it's not always the case. If you take many things at once, you don't know which one is actually being beneficial and which ones are just overkill.

I've found salvation with shatavari and this is all I'm taking. I'll be getting my Miracle-Mineral-Supplement soon, so I'll be taking that as well, but more for detoxification as my goal.

I did get powders of the mushromms mentionned abve and used to take them as a tea, but I really do feel that shatavari alone outperformed the mushrooms.

But to reiterate about shatavari:

1. Powder is better than extract
2. Capsules won't cut it - dosage is not sufficient. 1tsp 2x daily is suggested. 1lb of bulk powder will cost the same as a bottle of caps.
