I have never heard of accutane used for boils; I can only warn of my own experience. I took it 4x because it's help is temporary... while the negative effects are long-lasting. Accutane is infamous for causing Depression and suicide. It often causes one's brain to stop making seratonin - the chemical that makes you feel good. If you do this, I would insist the doctor measure your seratonin levels (which is easily done, but most doctors don't know this). At any rate, beware. And there is no guarantee the boils won't come back, as Acne does.

Of course you have to make your own decision, but I would never again take the drug for Acne or anything else. It's a very dangerous, toxic drug. Couldn't let this go without giving my warning...Good luck to you.
