Mebendazole/Herbal Dewormer...

Pinworm eggs are smaller than the head of a pin and they float in the air. People who are susceptible to them, have tendency to get them over and over, because it is virtually impossible to avoid recontamination, unless you live in a bubble. If you choose to rely on pharmaceutical drugs, you will end up going round and round through the rotating door at the doctors office, getting prescriptions. Some pharmaceutical drugs are very hard on the liver, weaken the immune system, and make you more vulnerable to reinfection.

Natural supplements that kill parasites and cleanse the liver will strengthen your immune system. and make you less vulnerable as a host.

Let's say the prescription the doctor gave you works. In a few weeks, or months, you touch a contaminated door knob, or inhale an egg, and it hatches out. Your butt starts itching. You lay there miserable all night long. You make an appointment and wait in misery until the doctor can see you. You take the medicine and it gets rid of them for a few more weeks, or months, or until you catch them again.

But if you keep some herbal dewormer on hand, you can get up and take a dose the minute you feel the itching start. You can also peel a garlic clove, score it, insert it in your anal sphincter, and stop the itching in a matter of minutes. You can also insert a capsule of the dewormer, if you are worried about stink farts from garlic.

"Mebendazole causes slow immobilization and death of the worms by selectively and irreversibly blocking uptake of glucose and other nutrients in susceptible adult intestine where helminths dwell. It is a spindle poison that induces chromosome nondisjunction." Wiki

Wormwood, on the other hand, is used "to remedy indigestion and gastric pain, it acts as an antiseptic, and as a febrifuge. For medicinal use, the herb is used to make a tea for helping pregnant women during pain of labor. A wine can also be made by macerating the herb. It is also available in powder form and as a tincture. The oil of the plant can be used as a cardiac stimulant to improve blood circulation. Pure Wormwood oil is very poisonous, but with proper dosage poses little or no danger. Wormwood is mostly a stomach medicine." Wiki

My preference is herbs. I tend to trust God's medicine a whole lot more than some toxic concoction formulated by an egg head in a lab coat.

I think WrayC has experience with menbendazole. Perhaps he can share his experiences with it.
