Re: Now you've done it!
Boy tomi, I was about to go to war for you, and I like and respect Tony and LuellaMay a whole lot. I believe the baby boomers are desperate for an alternative to high blood pressure medication. When I was diagnosed by a medical doctor I went through eight or nine different medications in an effort to find one that worked without side effects. The two medications that lowered the blood pressure made me feel terrible. The Beta Blocker made me feel like I was dying, I can't really describe it, I just knew I was going to die from that medicine. The ACE inhibitor worked the best but I coughed for over four months, I had all kinds of tests and x-rays, I think the doctor wanted me to be ill with something else. When he finally took me off the medicine, the coughing stopped in a couple of days.
I got my BP down through losing weight, liver flushing and colon cleansing plus an improved diet. No more pills for me. However, since moving into a wheelchair, I have gained weight and my BP sometimes gets a little high. I, for one am very grateful for the post and hope everyone who needs that kind of help will get to read it.
