Re: Noticed an interesting improvement
Hi Mike, that's great!
Seems like you're the old timer here aswell as a hardcore chelator ;-)
Pizza crust lol, hopefully it will pull chocolate fudge cake out of me :)
You will know anyway that DMSA chelates lead and ALA chelates arsenic.
I've only just recently started chelating so can't compare my experiences with yours though I have had similar experiences (very subtle), but then I get that when I work on my liver anyway. My chelation experiences up to now are fairly up and down. From what other posters have said recently, 'negative' feelings are reduced and 'positive' ones increased after/during chelation.
How do you know you have got most of the mercury out, by reduction in symptoms, hair test?
I didn't know what DHLA was when I read your post. Seems the body naturally converts ALA into DHLA within the cells (assuming everything's working as it should) but presumably if you do take it, it's just another job the body doesn't have to do. Anyway it sounds pretty potent!
You could try l-histidine for decision-making. I started taking it recently mainly for motivation but also other things. As motivation and decision-making are linked, that may help you.
Actually I was just getting really anxious again after reading about the dangers of taking ALA and how it isn't a proper chelator blah blah blah! I shouldn't read things like that and your post wasn't about that so sorry for bringing it up!
Keep us posted!
