And the dark irony is that your mother will be counted in the statistics as a success for mainstream medicine, whereas if she had died due to the operation, the cause of death would be written off as cancer and not mainstream medicine.  Furthermore, if she had been prescribed a six month regimen of chemo, and died one day short of the sixth month, that would not be counted as a failure since she did not complete the treatment.

Perhaps you might tell your mother to think of our bodies as cars, and the drugs and mainsteam practices as gasoline.  Or our bodies as houses and the mainstream group as gas, oil and coal.  What has happened to the price of gas?  Or home utilities?  Why are there STILL so very few alternatives being used on a widespread basis?  Especially wind and solar energy?  Because they represent threats to Big Oil and because until they figure our a way to control them and control their profits, they will brook very little competition. 

Just the same as it is today when it comes to approved and patented drugs and mainstream therapies versus natural alternatives.

Big business is all about controlling the market and suppressing competition, and to hell with the human costs.  The bigger the business and higher the profits the more greed and evil you are likely to find.  Look at what the Big # automakes did to Tucker when he dared make a better and safer car!  And that industry is not nearly as evil or slimy as the Big Pharma one has been.  How could anyone who is not brainwashed and blindfolded ever possibly trust them is what amazes me?

Glad to hear your mom ended up ok - try to tell the importance of good nutrition, diet, lifestyle and of building up her immune system.

Of the folks I see here with pig or pig-like avatars, you are by far the most preferable,  boatman!
