The cancer remedy I have written the most about is the one made from the oleander plant, which is the main subject in my book "Cancer's Natural Enemy".  One of the many features of oleander extract is it's ability to pass the blood brain barrier and it has had considerable success against brain tumors.  Another feature is how successful it has been when used singly or in combination against breast cancers.

Many here and elsewhere have labeled the oleander remedy as voodoo medicine, and have gone to great links to point out how poisonous the raw oleander plant is (which indeed it is UNITL it is properly boiled and strained).  It is interesting to note that the home remedy and the dietary supplement form based on that remedy, Sutherlandia OPC, are both made according to the original patent for the drug Anvirzel which successfully passed FDA inspections.  Since the patented medicine form is based on a common plant and an age old remedy, major funding from pharmaceutical companies who can afford the hundreds of millions needed to complete the FDA approval process and bring the drug to market have not been forthcoming since there is a very good likelihood that it would not be able to withstand a strong patent challenge.

However, you can rest assured that if a big Pharma company did manage to devise a synthetic version, which would likely be far less effective and prone to side effects the same as other lab created versions of effective natural medicinals, those who condemn the proven natural version that has saved thousands of lives would jump on the band wagon of touting how wonderful the new oleander drug was.
