Re: Philisophical Cat- Repost on Banaba Tea, kidneys/liver

Hi Jessesmom,

I believe Celery Tea is discussed in cleansing if you click on the cleansing tab at the top center of the CZ screen.

I haven't had any experience with this, but I have with fresh parsley tea. Parsley tea definitely makes you "go."

I recommend starting with something to dissolve kidney stones, like banaba tea (lemon tea is also reputed to do the same thing). Only after the kidney ducts are clear would I recommend a herbal kidney cleanser, as it acts to release toxins from the kidney tissues (as opposed to the ducts) and it's helpful to have clear ducts for the newly released toxins to be eliminated. The herbal kidney cleansers also support healthy growth of kidney tissue.

Moritz recommends a kidney cleansing every 4 Liver Flushes or so. Having had a bad experience around Flush #12, I think his advice is sound.

So, to answer the question of taking kidney cleansers continuously - I don't think you need to. However, once the ducts are clear and you've done one complete kidney cleanse using your herbs, following a Liver Flush with a day's worth of maintenance-level kidney tea would be helpful, as some of the toxins freed up from the liver will be excreted through the kidneys. Going through a full course of kidney cleansing herbs should be considered every 4 Liver Flushes or so (or at least quarterly). Just my opinion.

Let us know what you experience!
